Siksha Program: Interview with Tina Hirani

subpage1 Tina is one fo the founders of Spiritual Seekers, she immigrated to Australia from London (U.K) she works for KPMG and has been studying. How does she manage to do all this and still be so active in spiritual life? Lets ask her shall we...

So Tina, how long have you been involved with the Spiritual Seekers?

I came into Krsna Consciousness about 10 years ago through Pandava Sena from England

How has this siksha program helped you?

It has helped me in many ways, I was always curious and nervous about chanting the full 16 rounds and follow the principles, this program has given me a platform that is practical, there are five levels, and I get to choose which level I can be most comfortable with

Can anyone be a part of this siksha program?

I think anyone that is relatively interested can participate in the Siksha program, gradual steps towards spiritual advancement is the key, rushing in can be dangerous, so this is the perfect method and anyone can give it a go

What keeps you motivated?

There are always new challenges I feel, the next level always keeps me going, there is loads to do within this siksha program, attending special seminars, workshops, personal studying and associating with seniors, this keep me so inspired and motivated. Spiritual life is not boring. I learn a lot about myself through the books. I can feel comfortable and proud of my progress and at the same time work towards the next level.

So how do I get involved?

Simple, just email iskcon_sydney@yahoo.com.au and they will enter you to a special Siksha Ceremony, this Ceremony is amazing, I remember when I had my first Ceremony, it was special, I felt so great and with everyone there encouraging me, I felt a new energy enter my spiritual life.
